Energy audits of lighting in ports in Bizkaia

Progress on the contract for energy audits in the fifteen ports of the Basque Country! After recently announcing the start of the contract, today we want to share that we have already completed the data collection phase.

🔍 During this phase we have proceeded to:

📍 The geolocation and characterisation of all the luminaires present in the ports.

⚡ Measurements of the electrical panels and thermographic analysis.

🌙 The performance of night-time lighting measurements using the LX-GPS system, a luxmeter with integrated GPS developed by AFEISA, which made it possible to efficiently and accurately record illuminance levels and their uniformity from a 🚙 moving vehicle.

The field work developed provides a solid technical basis for further work, allowing to identify possible improvements in lighting efficiency and performance.

🔍 Some members of the Anphis team are currently in Bilbao to start the contract for the renewal of the energy audits of the public lighting installations of the ports transferred to the Eusko Jaurlaritza - Basque Government.

✅ Diagnosis of the state of the installations and proposals for improvement in efficiency and lighting performance.

⚡ Optimisation of electricity consumption and energy contracts.

Anphis enhances FruitMeasureApp for more accurate agriculture

🌱 We hear a lot about AI lately, but how to apply it in agriculture to improve efficiency and accuracy? 🍏📱

We are pleased to announce that we are working on the redesign and optimisation of FruitMeasureApp, a prototype mobile application based on artificial intelligence for the accurate measurement of fruit size in the field.

This project, developed in collaboration with the Agrotics and Precision Agriculture Research Group (GRAP) of the University of Lleida and IRTA (Institute of Agri-Food Research and Technology), represents a key step towards a more efficient and sustainable digital agriculture. 🌍🚀

The aim of the project is to improve the usability and functionality of the application in real conditions, optimising its performance and facilitating its access to the market. FruitMeasureApp uses advanced neural networks to accurately estimate (📸 through a photograph) the diameter of fruits, replacing error-prone manual methods and saving time and resources in the field.

📌 What improvements will be incorporated?

✅ Redesign of the interface to improve the user experience on Android and iOS.

✅ Optimisation of the calibration process with a 3D accessory that can be attached to the mobile phone.

✅ Upgrade of the YOLO neural network to improve detection accuracy and speed.

Boosting local commerce and tourism in Maó with innovation and technology

At Anphis, we develop technology solutions that transform the way cities manage their local retail and tourism offerings. Our platforms not only energise retail outlets, but also create synergies between commerce and tourism, fostering more sustainable and competitive local economies. 🌱

As part of the MiraMao platform development project (now available 🌐www.miramao.es), we were awarded the contract to IMPROVE THE IMAGE AND SUSTAINABILITY OF MAÓ'S POINTS OF SALE. In this project we carried out five presentations, designed to strengthen the image, sustainability and competitiveness of local points of sale. A series of conferences, carried out in collaboration with the Maó Town Council and experts from the sector. One more step in our commitment to urban innovation.

💡 What did we explore in these sessions?

Sandra Martino from Now or Never Studio talked to us about how to project a strong visual identity and connect emotionally with customers. She also taught practical digital strategies 📲 to maximise online visibility.

Oscar Sánchez from FarHub integrated the tourism and commerce sectors in his presentation, and talked about how to generate economic development by balancing both.

Martí Pol gave the session entitled ‘Challenges and opportunities of urban commercial areas’ 🏘️ in which he highlighted the importance of urban planning that combines residential, commercial and cultural uses.

📊 The last of the sessions was given by Rubén Platero from Noventec, addressing the power of data and which analytical tools to use in order to make strategic decisions applicable to businesses.

✨ These sessions were not only a learning space, but also a platform to generate ideas that promote the integration between commerce and tourism, with sustainability as a central pillar.
